Edinburgh Filmmaker Wins Award

Chas Nairn, the man behind Brainchild Films, got the recognition for his film Accomplish at the recent Bochum Film Festival.
“We won a 3rd prize in what was described as ‘The Golden Crank Award’ which was voted by the audience at the end of the festival. The first prize got a set of Gold Bicycle Cranks. We were really stoked considering there were about 17 films shown.”
Accomplish had its first cinema showing in this year’s first Bicycle Film Festival held in Edinburgh.
“We have been invited back next year to compete with the new film ‘Extended Family‘ which will be out in a few months as I have almost finished filming it.”
You might catch Chas and some of his friends at Burdiehouse Skate Park on Sunday 24th of September at 1.00. “We will have probably 2 trials riders and 3-4 bmxers – maybe more.”
