How to spend £17m on Cycling

Posted by chdot on July 24, 2006

Six “Demonstration Towns” in England – Aylesbury, Brighton, Darlington, Derby, Exeter and Lancaster – are spending around £17m over three years.

The organisation behind the project, Cycling England, has released a great short film which starts by interviewing non-cyclists giving reasons why they (and many people generally) don’t cycle.

It then shows what each town is doing and planning to do. Just shows what can be done with a bit of focus and a relatively small sum of money.

Watch the movie. Only 6 minutes!
