Glasgow’s first (International) Bicycle Film Festival finishes with a flourish on Thursday (12th October). Ryan Leech the “worlds best trials rider” is showing two of his films.
Afterwards he’ll appear (with his bike) for a question and answer session. The whole event will run for about 2 hours. Organiser David Gould says it will be “very much audience participation based”.
“We will be showing the first ever European Cinema screening of Ryan’s sequence from the yet to be released, Kranked 6. For the film, Ryan was asked to design his perfect trials trail then ride it. It took him several months to finally nail it in one complete sequence and no one else has even come close to riding it. It has to be seen to be believed. Ryan will introduce the screening, talking about the idea behind the film and the highs and lows of capturing the most challenging trials sequence ever recorded on film”.
Location: Glasgow Film Theatre, 12 Rose Street, Glasgow. Ticket Price: £7.50 (only a limited number left so be quick!) book on 0141 332 8128. Time : 8.30pm
