Edinburgh’s own cycle promotion project TryCycling in Edinburgh won the Innovation Prize awarded at today’s Cycling Scotland Conference.

TCIE was chosen from a shortlist of 7 nominations –

TryCycling started 18 months ago and has carried out a wide range of promotional activities – stalls at summer fairs, rides for beginners, The Bicycle Film Festival etc.

Cycling Scotland Chairman Bill Wright told the audience “TryCycling is a template for partnership working.”
