Fine Day for a Count

One thing about Climate Change is that it has made weather forecasting unpredictable! On Sunday the organisers of today’s count were saying “the weather forecast is a bit disappointing, so let’s hope no showers for the crucial period”.

Cyclists and vehicles were counted to see how the numbers and percentages have changed since the last count in murky November.

Once again Spokes members counted between 7.45 and 9.15 at Forrest Road and outside the Filmhouse in Lothian Road. The ‘peak’ time for cyclists is around 8.45.

The results will be in soon – there is no electronic counting involved… (There WILL be a recount – in November and next May.)

Details in Spokes Newsletter 97.
